Test Includes

Tacrolimus

Methodology

Roche COBAS Electrochemiluminescence Immunoassay (ECLIA)

Rejection Criteria

Specimen Requirements

Preferred Specimen

EDTA Lavender Top Tube

Minimum Volume

administered dose (trough). If this is not possible,
patients should not be advised to delay their scheduled dose
without the advice of their physician. According to
consensus guidelines, therapeutic range is not clearly
defined, but target trough concentrations are
5-20 ng/mL early post transplant.
Note: Do not collect samples from patients receiving therapy
with high biotin doses (>5 mg/day) until at least 8 hours
following the last biotin administration.
