Uric acid: 5 days room temperature; 1 week refrigerated; 6 months frozen

Anti-nuclear antibodies: 1 day room temperature; 1 week refrigerated; 1 month frozen

Collection Instructions

2 mL serum. Allow SST to clot in an upright position for at least 30 minutes, then centrifuge sample within 2 hours of collection. Refrigerate. Also collect 5 mL EDTA (lavender top) whole blood. Refrigerate.
